Driver side mirror replacement
Ok, I did a search, found a few threads, this was the closest:

My GF did the same thing, knocked off the mirror going through a drive through. Her Civic has the 6 speakers, with the single tweeter in the corner of the window on the inside of where the mirror is.
I don't have to replace the unit, the motor and stuff still work fine, so if I remove the door panel will I also be able to remove the speaker unit to get at where the mirror will bolt in?
Any good DIY tutorial or reference on this?
Also, anyone know why I'm still getting a "new user can't post in xxxx" message?

You broke the mirror off, but you don't need to replace the unit? I don't get it. You mean the glass part fell out?
Anyhow.. removing the mirror is simple.

Removing the door panel makes it a little easier, but it really isn't necessary.

No, I mean that the whole unit popped off. It looks like the screws that hold the unit to the plate popped out of their retaining holes, and the entire thing is just kind of hanging there, housing and all. I can't see any huge damage that would prevent me from reattaching the plate, so I should just be able to remount it.
Thanks for the photos, that's what I thought it was but I didn't want to just pop it off without checking first.
