you can swap the needles.

you just need to do some careful recalibration.

(either by machine, or by writing down RPM <==> speed)

i did it to a cluster too.

you will need to recalibrate since the needles are coil loaded. open up your guage cluster and you will see what im talking about.

I opted not to swap them. I just solved it the easy way...

It can be done but you gotta be VERY carefull not to break them.

Just put the ITR cluster in your car. Why risk messing up 2 clusters. Thats my opinion anyways. I have one in mine, and it looks nice.

use a vafc for engine rpm

for speed, in 5th gear 2200 rpm indicated on tach is 40 mph.

do it right and indicated via v-afc 70 mph is 3871 rpm.

the spedo is never accurate, not even from factory. neither is the tach.

but to put it all back to factory settings this is what you should do.

otherwise you can send it off to a shop with a calibration unit.

i figured i can just put the needles back on while, the engine is running. isn't the rpm supposed to be between 750-900 durgin idle? and the speed just resting at zero? i also had to get a full tank to set the fuel needle. is this method ok?

also, i have a b16a delsol. from my knowledge, the tranny gearing is shorter so, wouldn't the rpm be higher at 70 mph? thanx
