H22A timing belt procedure
i saw this is preludezone.com, is it necessary to do this when u allready top dead the whole motor?
8. Make sure the crankshaft is positioned with the No. 1 piston at TDC.
9. Align the groove on the front balancer shaft pulley with the pointer on the oil pump housing as shown.
10.Align the rear balancer shaft pulley by using a 6x100mm bolt as a alignment tool. Insert the bolt into the maintenacne hold about 3/4 the length of the bolt.

11. Loosen the adjusting nut and verify that the timing balancer belt adjuster moves freely
12. Install the timing balancer belt. Remove the 6x100mm bolt from the rear balancer shaft.
13. Turn the crankshaft pulley about one turn, then tighten the adjusting nut to the specified tq.
Both belt adjusters are spring loaded to properly tension the eblts. Do not add any extrea pressure to the pulleys or tensioners while adjusting.

Everything must be at TDC, when you intall both the belts. Follow that procedure to put the rear balancer shaft at TDC. Align the hole with the mark on the housing to put the front balancer shaft at TDC.
i thought that once u tdc the motor befor removing the 2 belts, everything elese will be tdc.
My intake cam moved several degrees as soon as I popped my timing belt off. But that was probably because one of the cam lobes had just passed the point it was fully open and was on its way to closing again. There's room to play with anyway, and you can always move each sprocket by hand to match everything back up at tdc when you're ready to put a new belt on.

one thing i am confuse about is , when u put the 6x100 bolt into the service hold it goes in and everything but it can go in on 4 diferent positions so which one is the correct one
