Icon2 my new project, need opinions!!!

okay, so im planning my new project. i found a 4th gen 2dr accord with the f22.
i plan to sell the f22 and tranny (worth how much?) and swap in a dual cam (b16, ls, gsr, or h22???).

im decently experienced, have an ls swap into my 91 crx under my belt, so if the ls is a realistic swap choice id be most comfortable with it...

i need to hear experienced opinions on what motor i should swap (which is easiest swap, best power, cheapest, ect??), electrical difficulties with the swaps, and price range. money is an issue for me, but i plan to buy it in pieces and build it up nicely over the next year.

please, give me your opinion on what i should do!

No, I don't think those B-Series motor have enough torque for the Accord Chasis. If it was the 89 Accords, I can see why you want to swap in the B-Series motor. Best choice motors are H23A, H22A, H23A DOHC VTEC, F20B DOHC VTEC, H22A Type S, etc; More torque.

You can always stay with the F22A and turbo it. F22's are strong for turbo but make sure the motor have good compression numbers before you boost it.

These days you can find a JDM H22A long block for $999.00 plus shipping; as for complete swaps, they are around $1500.00+ for the H22s. F22B/H23A DOHC long blocks are usually around $600.00+ depending where you get it from and around $1200.00 for complete swaps.

I got mine from Japanese Star Motor(Albany, NY) for only $900.00 shipped; Long block only. Try to stay away from Canadian Importers as I've heard many stories about them.

look man a b series motor in an accord is a terrible idea it wud never make u happy...trust thats a no no....if ur f series swap is good and reliable you will probably get max 350-400 dollars...i suggest find a cb7 shell thro it in there and resell it for twice its value...or buy an h22 longblock (no tranny) or a f20b, h23a both are dohc vtec 200 hp engines...anyways buy one and throw ur f22 stock manual tranny, it will bolt rite up...youll save alot of money...
