i have a 89 honda crx, D15B2. my car will die while driving it, ill try to start it and it will just turn over. ill wait a little bit and it will fire right up. some times when i take off it sputters, ill rev it and it will stop. i have no clue what the problem is and i need help. some one plz

i can smell fuel. we were checkin the spark (pulled the plug out) and my buddy had it grounded on the block and it was turnin over but could see no spark. later on a different friend had it just sittin on the motor, not touchin nothin and it started right up. ive had a few people tell my crankshaft positioning sensor? is that a possability.

 

Ask a friend to bum there distributor for you to try. My old single cam engine had a faulty Ignitor and Chip. Acting just like yours.
