Today, i was changing my oil and had my car up. Just for fun, I decided to turn the front wheel and i looked over at the opposite wheel and it was turning the same direct. Last month when i was mounting new tires, i turned the wheel and the opposite wheel spun in the opposite direction, which i thought was normal for LSD. Now, i dont think the LSD is working because the other wheel is not spinning the opposite direction. Anyone have any input about what could have gone wrong or what would cause this problem? TIA

 

the stock lsd should turn the opposite direction.

 

Yeah that's what it used to do a month ago. Today when i tried it, they both spun the same direction either way. Could an LSD just go away like that?

 

According to the helm manual, to check if the LSD is operating correctly, put it in gear and then spin it. It should spin in the opposite direction.

 

If I put it in gear, it doesn't even budge...

I don't know if Quaife's are different or not. Mine spin the same way in neutral

 

Alex you got LSD dont worry about it, you are too paranoid about that dam riced out car of yours. We'll double check on Wed to see if you have LSD or not, but it doesnt just disappear like that.

I when my car is off and i put it in gear, i cant even spin my wheel. but before when i spun it in neutral, the other wheel spun the opposite direction, now, they both spin the same...

Last time I checked for a LSD was when i was mounting the new tires. Now a couple of days ago was just doing to my 4 hour oil change( damn filter didn't want to come off) and I checked the LSD and it did something different

 

4 hour oil change? You need to get yourself a filter wrench (socket for honda filters). It's $4 and can probably be found at pep boys.

 

HAHA that's exactly what we did. After 4 hours, we realized that our girly arms couldn't get it off, we went to pep boys and bought a filter wrench. Came off in seriously 2 seconds
