Default sad day.....

today started off good got the battery being drained problem fix....i was able to drive it to work then i got off work and pulled out the drive way and tie rod snaps on the front right tire =( got stuck on the busy street and had to have the lude towed 131$ for the tow ugh sad sad sad day my 3rd gen lude gave me trouble now my 4th gen is doing the same dont know if my ludes worth keeping anymore.........*sigh*.....

you can still manage to drive on the broken tie rod. What made you get stuck in traffic ?

sorry dude but a broken tie rod is not a sad day, thats like a 30 min job. A blown motor, sliding into a ditch or rear-ending a bus is a bad day, I speak from experience.

i was 20 miles away from home and i have to take the freeway to get home so i dont think driving on the freeway with a broke rod or axle is safe cus i can turn my left wheel but cant really turn my right...=(

Yep, that's not too bad. Just an inner tie rod...pretty easy to replace.

i dont know how it snapped i was exiting out of a drive way and wen i straightend out something started to drag so i stopped put the emergency lights on i looked at my tires saw driverside one straight and wen i walked over to the other side the right one was facing in and saw that hanging luckully i already have the inner and outter tie rods for the right side and the left side i bought them like 2 yrs ago but never got around installing them cus i was trying to save money for the rack and pinion but never was able to save the money so yea

tie rod is very simple and cost effective to replace. u may have caught the "prelude curse"
