Default side mirror glass removal?

Hi guys, i need to remove the mirror glass from the side view mirror and i know there are clips that hold it in, but it's so hard to take out. does anyone have a tip or trick as to remove the mirror without breaking the glass??

If you're going to use your hands, you have to be quick and strong enough. You could use a piece of wood and slide it under the mirror. The goal here is, you HAVE to keep the glass flat at all times, you can flex it or bend it too much, otherwise.. it will crack.
One strong pull is the way to go, if you do it slowly... your chances of cracking the glass are bigger. There are 2 little plastic rods and a center "ball" that needs to be popped out when doing this job.
When it's time to place the glass back, you align the 2 little plastic rods to where they need to go first, and then press firmly the center of the glass until you hear "pop" so that center ball is now in place. And that's it.
