Default How do i remove the glass for my driver side mirror?

i have a 99 honda civic ex, and i was wondering how i can get the glass out, i dont want to break it.

I would try heating it up and see if it comes loose. I think it's only held on with adhesive.

what do you mean the glass do you need to replace it or what. On my eg there is a screw hole underneath the center of the mirror and if you take it out the mirror gets loose and you can take the glass out. Try autozones website they have instructions to take apart almost every part on your car, but im not sure about the mirror glass its worth a try.
