B20VTEC is gonna require a LSVTEC Conversion kit, a GSR or ITR Oil pump and another B series head. A GSR Head is the best one you can put on there since it has the smallest combustion chamber, therefore making the highest compression ratio and the most power.

golden eagle actulally has a complete conversion kit with head gasket and everything else you need to do the conversion specifically for building b20/v's. so no need of using a ls/v conversion for building b20/v.

you can either go b16 or GSR head. you will also need b20/v arp studs, b16 or GSR water pump depending on the head you get. and any vtec oil pump will work.

ge vtec kit, gsr water, oil pump. replace timing belt while your in there.
oh and by the way if this all you do your motor is a bomb, and is gonna go booooom,

yes any b series vtec head will fit, gsr will be best for high comp, but b16 will work just as good

Torque everything properly, dont rev the **** out of it, the bottom end is not made for it.

250 ish for the kit.

torque everything isnt going to help all that much, dont rev past 7k it will surely blow very quickly if you do that. also make sure its properly tuned, and not runing rich or lean,

slap a GSR crank and some eagle H beam rods and you'll be able to rev past "7K" no problem.

then its not a B20 VTEC. Then its a GSR. The thing that makes the B20 and LS have torque is their longer stroke because stroke's create TQ. And the Rod Stroke ratio helps determine the redline based on the speed of the pistons at different RPM's. if he put a GSR crank in there it would actually make less power since then it would just be a GSR overbore to 2.0L. Which wouldnt be that great. B20 VTEC makes more power and has better TQ throughout the RPM range.

b20 89mm stroke
GSR 87.2mm stroke

both have a rod length of 137mm and a GSR is a 1.8 and b20 2.0 so idk how a GSR crank makes a b20 a GSR. you wouldnt even be sacrifying that much torque if ANY to gain some revs so i dont see how slapping a GSR crank in a b20/v wouldnt be so great.

The stroke is a little longer and the Rods are a little shorter. The Rod length is 137.9mm on a GSR. B20 = B Series Block (LS To be exact) Overbore to 84mm from Factory with LS Crank. Its basically an overbore LS. But a GSR block is different from a LS block and the deck height is a little taller for the higher compression pistons. So if you put in a GSR Crank with B20 Rods You will decrease the compression all the way to like 9.2. Instead of like 10.2. If you put in GSR rods also then u will have 10.0 Compression which is still worse than the B20V Compression @ 10.2. And you will also lose some TQ in the process. Its slightly longer stroke and slightly shorter rods are what give it the TQ that it makes. By putting in a GSR crank and GSR rods you will basically be turning the motor into a lower compression version of a GSR (10.0CR vs 10.1).
