I am having trouble with tire wear on the rear tires(Toyo Proxes FZ4's) of my 97' Civic. I have H&R springs on it. 1.75" drop in the front and 1.5" drop in the rear. I put the Progress camber adustment kit on the front and the shims on the rear because my camber on the car was -2.5 degrees on the rear tires. I was getting unusually fast tire wear on the rear tires only and thought this would correct the problem. I am still getting the tire wear, but it is only every other tread on the inside of my tires in the rear. I can not figure it out. Could my struts be bad or not traveling correctly since I lowered it? I would appreciate some help with this problem.....Thanks

 

Are your shocks/struts stock?

 

i used to own a set of proxes and they did the same thing too. and when i would drive without the music on i would hear this :humming: noise coming from my tires... i no longer have those proxes but to this day i still have no clue just like you

 

Yes they are stock....I am looking into replacing them.

 

I had the same trouble with Kumho tires also.
