Icon2 Exhaust muffler...preference.

Ok im in the market for an exhaust on my ej1. Im planning on a DC header and aem SRI for my car. Also a 2.25 exhaust. From header to muffler. With cat and resonator. My debate is wether to get a OBX twin loop muffler or a JDMCARBOY twin loop muffler. Which one is better? I like the sound of the twin loop mufflers. But i also like my old ek setup. Which was 2.25 exhaust with a es tuning muffler.

I would also like to know why you chose one over the other. Especially the one that just voted for JDMcarboy.

Magnaflow makes some of the best looking mufflers but they're heavy as hell. Flowmaster makes some of the lightest mufflers for their performance and amount of sound deadening. What are your priorities in order of preference- looks, performance, sound. Looks can be divided into muffler and tip asthetics.

I would get a more free flowing exhaust. I like my Skunk2 N1 exhaust, but there are lots it depends on the look and what sound you want. My skunk2 is loud as hell though at WOT and I love it!

Well i like a deep mellow tone. Not a raspy loud fart can sound. I liked my es tuning muffler alot. But wanted to go a diffirent route this time. So i figured trying out the Twin Loop.

since its your car and its what you like just search a bunch of videos on youtube or something and see which one you like best. some like the rasp, some like the deep, everyone has a personal prefference. I spent countless hours listening to exhaust before I made up my mind and bought a Spoon N1. I love the sound and it looks good with only a 2.5" outlet makes it sit like the factory muffler.

Vibrant mufflers ftw! Not loud and obnoxious and doesn't sound like a fart canon. Looks stock not rice, and sounds of VTEC. Best sounds ever, best of all it's a great performance add on for only 118$ that is quality.

I could have picked up a full Tanabe catback for $350. Probally should have but I wanted the Spoon N1 axleback and custom piping for when I go FI.

rs*r ex mag or maybe ITR jdm header, ctr 2.5" mid pipe (b pipe)and either usdm ITR or jdm ctr muffler.

es oval i would think over off brand imitation twin loop.

SPOON would be nice complement to jdm ctr b pipe.

I'd go with the Apexi WS2 or the Spoon N1.

But if you want something cheaper Vibrant and Flowmaster make nice sounding mufflers.

Apexi N1, Greddy SP2 (or a copy of it like I have), I've never heard a vibrant exhaust but I've been told they sound nice.
