I bought a salvage 2005 s2000 and the air pump is broken .. and a new is really expensive !
someone told me that i can bybass it to avoid getting and '' check engine '' . There's a way to do that ?

since 2006 the s2 didn't have them anymore .. so there're really useful ?

Unless you have an aftermarket EMS setup, you cannot bypass the pump to the best of my knowledge.

However you are in luck, I have one for sale pm me if you are interested, it's off my car with 46k on the clock.

The pump is their for emissions only.
