Default Best transmission option for f20b

As some of you might have seen i recently installed a f20b vtec into my 97 accord. It was just a motor swap using my stock manual tranny. However the motor performs nothing better then the stock POS f22 i had in there. It definately needs a tranny and here I am wondering what is the best one to use???

i know there are several options but what would you guys suggest?
is the lsd option worth it on some of the trannys?

i was quoted 1800 dollars for the stock tranny with lsd from a f20b and personally i cant justify paying more for a tranny then the motor.

is there a cheaper and better or close to type alternative? maybe a lude??

Try looking for a JDM M2A4 H22 tranny; gears are shorter than F22s. I'm currently running the F tranny as well and well be getting the M2A4 from my buddy since he bought himself the M2B4(LSD). The best one and is made for the F20B DOHC VTEC are the P2T4 trans but it'll cost you a arm and a leg.

Yeah, $1800.00 can get me another H22 complete swap.

just try to find a regular H22 tranny unless you want to spend an arm, leg, and left nut for a EURO R/ Accord Sir-t one

PS: avoid the H22A JDM lsd ones if you plan on making any type of power and the fact that there parts are not swappable with a regular h22 trannie. Also mfactory sells a cheap lsd anyways that is way better then the oem one

i paid 1100 for my f20b t2t4 tranny from hmotorsonline.com. IF i was you, i would get a usdm h22 tranny, and stick a mfactory lsd and aftermarket final drive in it.
