I have a 94 Civic EX with minor mods making a ticking sound from the intake manifold. It only does it when Im above 1000 rpm. Any ideas of why????

 

i think i might have had the same problem as you...but the noise wasn't coming from the intak manifold but the injectors...if it is from the injectors try getting injector cleaners and use them it should take away the noise because i use it and the ticking noise went away. but you could have something completely different it's just a thought
