Icon3 DA Trailing Arm Bushing!

I just tried to get my trailing arm bushing done on my DA & everyone keeps giving me the same bushing! It's too small & it doesn't fit! Instead it goes right throught he trailing arm I am pissed off! Has anyone every had experience with this problem? Will 1 from the dealer fit?

sounds like you are getting one for a DC, not a DA. Just get one from the dealer, it isn't that expensive, plus much better quality

To my knowledge (and I could be remembering what I read wrong), on the DA the original bushing sleeve needed to be retained to install the new bushing into. If that part wasn't used, that would leave the bushing too small in the hole.

The new bushing looks like it goes inside of the ring from the old bushing but you can tell that it doesn't bcuz you can look inside of it & see that the ring was part of the old bushing I wish I had pics to show what I am talking about

Maybe this can help.

Reusing that sleeve might just be for polyurethane bushing installs (as done in that thread), but I don't have any better information to offer.

I got them. The 1s from honda are the only 1s that fit! So remember when doing this go to the dealer they are $141.89 exact change unless you have a hook up!
