CRX not getting power 20 dollars on paypal to whoever can figure it out.
Ok so here is the story I have had this 88crx si for a while now and when I was recently going to sell it I went to start it and nothing happened. I changed the battery and made sure the ground was good. While I was doing the ground I saw another ground on the passenger side of the engine bay that was not hooked up when I went to touch it to the trans it sparked. After that it would not spark and idk if I blew something or what not.
The battery was relocated to the back of the car and I thought I may have fried the power cable so I relocated the battery to the engine bay I cut a little piece off of the remaining power wire to use as power in the engine bay. I did not change the power wire to the starter or the wire that grounds or attaches to somewhere under the passenger dash by the ecu. The car gets no power and I am wondering what there is I can check is there any relays or what not that I could have fried. I need to get this running to sell asap any help would be much appreciated.
First one to help me get it running gets 20 bucks on paypal no BS I just need this thing running.

did you check the fuses under the hood, the big ones with the screws?
and i dont want your money if I help you.

Check the fuses as grog mentioned. Here is a pic of the large fuses that you most likely blew. You can visually inspect them - look through the "window" and see if the wire strip is still intact. Keep in mind you may have popped several other fuses, so check them all.
yea its most likely the battery fuse. odds are that wasnt a ground it was the starter cable or something along those lines
trans ground engine ground sensor ground battery/ecu fuse loose/naked wire grounded out on the chassis fault in the wiring harness corossion......all those would be what i would check
ya the thing is the moron I bought the car from relocated the fuse/relay box under the dash on the passenger side by the ecu is there is way to tell if the large fuses are bad or should I just buy new ones and replace them.

you most likely blew a main power fuse. you should check every fuse now. ALso the wire that wasnt hooked up wasnt a ground if it sparked. I would say its your started wire if i had to guess. So a pic might help.
I will get some pics up it was deff not the starter wire that I touched the trans that sparked it was a ground connected to the chassis. The fuse/relay box was relocated to under the dash so it will be a bitch to get to all of the fuses and relays. Oh well I appreciate the help I hope I can figure this out asap I will be looking at it today
at the Positive battery post, you should have a large wire going directly to the starter and a smaller wire going to the main fuse box - where the arrow is in the picture
