Some say yes, some say no... I read the helms and couldnt find it anywhere "i have a PDF helms so it was frusterating as all hell" but anyways if i'm supposed to use silicone where in sequence does it go..?? between block to gasket or head to gasket...?? and where on the HG..?? i heard next to cyl#1 and cyl#4 in the corners but that just doesnt seem sufficient enough to do anything....
Hondabond on a headgasket? No. Never. Brand new OEM honda head gasket and clean the surface very good / wipe it down with brake parts cleaner and you will be good to go.
I've never heard of this or ever did it.
GL!

I've had a couple cars that people put it on around the edges as I can see where it oozes out a little around where the head meets the block. Do NOT put it on the head gasket around the cylinders.
Alright, well whatever floats your boat. I've never used it and I've never experienced any problems. Personal preference I guess.

I didn't say I do it, just stated cars I have had previous owners had done it and I didn't have any issues. As you said and my first post, as long as it's smooth and clean you should have no problems.
ive heard to use a little bit around the oil drainback or feed idk which it is, still havent understood the oiling on these honda motors...
but its a square shaped passage, and its the same shape on the headgasket, more towards the trans on my d.
im not saying to put it there, but i have heard that can be done...

hondabond is a simple gasket sealer, not a high temp or high pressure gasket maker.
If you're headgasket needs hondabond to keep the coolant or oil in, you may want to look at other solutions.
Using honda bond or any silicone on a head gasket is a no go. All your doing is adding more surfaces to seal
With head gasket only, two sealing surfaces
With silicone on both sides there would be 4 = More prone to leaking
Its just like having 2 gaskets on a oil filter in a way
