so i just put a b7 block and y8 head combo togeather using arp's and dropped it into the 98 4 door. for some reason it has spark and fuel is going to the rail but no fire, just a few small sputters here and there. any ideas

 

What ecu are you using are you sure your injector clips are plugged in right. Are you leaking fuel any where. Did you check the injector o rings

 

it was the spark plug firing order, they were mixed up at the dizzy. but now for some reason, the car wont go any where unless my foot is all the way down to the floor on the gas pedal. and it takes off REALLY SLOWLY untill about 4k then runs smooth all the way past that. im not really sure what thats about gotta look into it more later on


ALSO the gauge cluster(auto) is showing the D4 position as a flashing green square around it. any idea what thats about???

 

well i thought that 98's had knoch sensors and crankshaft position sensor but the b7 has neither if you running a 98 ecu i dont know how the car is running but id look into that
