Default 99-00 Si wheels refinish???

I just got a set of Si wheels and they have been painted black, but i want to put a OEM finish back onto it...

what color of paint would be closest, or what would be easiest way to do this?

Strip the paint, and polish them. Ask a local powder coating shop if they can do clear on top of the polished surface.

Stock, they were machined and clear coated. You probably aren't going to be able to achieve that exact finish again. But I think polished looks better than the nearly polished machined face anyway (you won't get the tiny lines in it).

Then paint stripper, light sanding, primer, and whatever color paint you wish to use. Won't be OEM looking, but would still look good.

Many people rock painted OEM wheels.

I'm a fan of "hyper black" wheels, the look of which can probably be achieved with Duplicolor Metalcast Smoke or similar colored translucent paint.
