After mounting my "si" wheels I bought from honda i noticed that two weren't as shiney as the other two. It seems they gave me the 2001 ex, wheel option and the finish is not the same as the other two which are si wheels.

I am going back to the dealer to raise hell but before i make an *** out of myself i want to know the part num for 99-00 si wheels. If it matches the part num on my receipt I got their *** and they can't tell me squat, if not I will have to raise a little more hell.

Does anybody know it? I tried hondaautomotiveparts.com but nothing comes up.

First off I really don't get why they would give you a different finishe from a different year. All 99-00 si wheels are the same as far as I know. The 99-00 si wheel only comes of the 99-00 si, so they can't be from a different car or with a different finishe. So unless they forgot to clear coat them or what ever they do at the factory then that is the only reason why. It would have to me a mistake from the factory.

I believe it was an option for the 2001 civics. If u look at my wheels u can see the difference, Two have a different finish on them than the other two.

Bingo. I think that's it. The clear coat is not on two of them. thats for making me not look like an ***. I'm still going there to find out what they can do about it though.
