What I did was to remove the needle from the "baseline" jpg and fill in the space. Next, I reopened the original jpg and cut out the needle and made it a new document and rotated it to various positions. Then, I delted the background layer from each (making it a transparency) and cut and pasted the needle to the baseline gauge and saved it as a gif according to where the needle was pointing. I think I used about 15 frames to make that. It's not too hard once you get the hang of it. Hell, if people give me good pictures of gauges, I may start doing them on request.
i guess its about time for me to download photoshop.....
