stock del sol 1/4 times
I highly doubt anyone would hit a 15.1 in a STOCK Del Sol. They are supposed to hit a 15.7 so I'm guessing from there to mid 15's with the stock DOHC VTEC(B16A2) motor.
My friend has a 95 DOHC SI del sol and he says the best stock time for it is a 15.1.. I still dont believe it.. can someone clearify this for me?
Anyways, the DOHC Vtec Del Sol can be mid to low 15's with a few bolt ons...
I had an intake filter, axleback exhaust, and AEM power pullies for pwr steering and alternator and I got a 15.6 on street tires, and a 15.3 with slicks....

What I was saying is that 94GsRacer said that a friend of his had a DOHC SI Del Sol, the SI model was a Sohc vtec....
94GSRacer said a Del Sol DOHC Si, so I would assume he knows what model it is which implies that the engine isnt stock.which also means the car isnt stock. I think a 15.1 on a Si sol is a way too outta the ordinary to be believable and 15.1 on a "stock" b16a2 is also a lil too fast to be stock IMO.

[magazine racing alert]....well, just so you know, Motorweek ran a 15.1 and a very low 0-60 in a stock del Sol VTEC. So that's where you get the 15.1 number. Most other mags got mid 15's......[/magazine racing alert]
I've heard of 15 dead in a del Sol S (lightest of all models) with a USDM B16A2 in it by a guy in Dallas. If you do a power to weight ration calculation, with my whp (145) and (presumed) weight (2450 plus 175 for driver) you come out with just about bang on 15.000.....
