Default will 17x7.5 fit a 2000 civic?

Ok everyon I currently have 4 lug on my car and I found someone who will trade me their 5 lug suspension for mine and me rotas. No I have a set of 5 lug advan rg2. They are 17x7.5 now my question is will they fit my 2000 civic ex? Cause I don't wana give up my 4 lug and then my advans not fit and be out of a car. I believe the ofset is 42 and tires are 215 45 17

The tires are too big for your car and will probably rub. You need 205/40-17.

I'm not sure if that offset will work on your car or not. With the right offset, 17x7.5 should work.

Ok. Yeah they were on my buddies rsx and I bought them off him about a year ago hoping it would fit my car when I went 5 lug
