Default Curbage Chunks....

Hey guys, im re-finishing some BBS's, I heard i love to sand, but anyways....Theres a nice size chunk missing out of one of the Spokes.....

Is there anyway i can fill this, maybe body filler "bondo" then sand it down to form then paint....all suggestions would be greatly appreciated thanks guys steve

Check out Eastwood's website they have metal fillers and a lot of bodywork stuff. Not really sure what product you'd use but you could always give them a call and ask. I've used a lot of their powder coating supplies and some body work tools. From my experience they have a lot quality products and fast shipping.

Here's a link, it's called Metal To Metal Filler it might be what your looking for but your damage might be too deep.

ok i heard bondo, but really.. no i also heard jb-weld, but really i have no idea, i would try jb-weld first... i really dont know

im pritty sure bondo is not what you want to do.. im sure how big the chunks are .. sanding down minor curb damage will work

Bondo will not be a permanent fix (vibration will eventually cause it to lift). As for JB Weld, I've seen it work for a decent amount of time, but even then it can fail. The most definite form of repair, would be to take it to a professional welder and have them TIG weld in the deeper portions and grind them smooth.
