Hello guys,

I have an ep3 and recently got the ebay fog light kit. The kit came with some cheap A*S piece of SH*T switch that was claimed to be "oem". ANyways, I was wondering if anyone has the pin out for the cruise control switch because Im planing on using that switch for the fog lights instead. I dont need the cruise control, i already took out the unit so thinking I would use the switch for something useful. It has 5 pins and Im not sure which wire goes where. Thank you in advance

 

its not the same kinda switch, the fog is a on off, the cruise has more to it.. same size but different connector, u can get the switch for cheap from an acura dealer,

 

oooo darn it. so i shouuld just go to acura and get the swittch? from which car?

 

my bad u can go to honda and get the switch for your car. i forgot u said ep and not dc, just tell them u need a fog light dash switch

 

am i right that you can operate the fog lights independantly from the headlights? that's what the switch sounds like. On standard fog light models, the car woudnt let you turn on your foggies without headlights and turns off while high beams. I did a independant fog light mod and high beams + foggies mod while i had the honda fit, looked really good driving foggies with no headies hehe

 

u could but most ebay kits use the stock car wiring. so it would be set how the factory has it, tho u can just change a couple things and it would fix ur lights to be independatly operateable.

i dont really trust ebay unless its just a piece of plastic or something heh

 

dc5 folks have been buyin ebay ones fora long longtime now since ours crack in about 5 seconds.. they look exactly the same.. those dont look bad either but make sure u put some laminex over them other wise your done for.

 

hmm, yea ill do that, these are my own money and own after martket pieces, so ill want to protect that didnt know they can come smoked/tinted/blue, thats nice hehe
