ok so when trying to start my car it makes this terrible sound "it was compared to an old man coughing earlier today" and it wont start it seems like it wants to but just nothing...

so i check all my plug wires every things right so i take a plug out and smoke comes out?!?!?!?! what could this be

sounds like time to do a motor swap to me!

 

details.. when was the last time you drove it? where there any problems before it died?

 

drove it like last week and the only probs was miss firing..

 

what about the day before that? so you didnt drive it for a week and when you decided to start it up it died?

 

only things i did was take the dizzy off and put it back on..

 

oh boy... you took the whole distributor off? or just the cap and rotor?

 

details on car and engine please.. and if its stock or swapped

 

stock d15b8 and yea took the hole dizzy off not the first time ive replaced it before

 

so you replaced the dizzy? how come? well you can double check firing orders.. heres a link

Also do some ignition timing since you removed the dizzy.. your going to need a timing light or you can do it by ear and just advance or retard the timing by moving your dizzy back and fourth

 

ima go re check the firing order and get a timing light tomorrow thanks for the help

 

she started thanks a lot man still miss firing but i think its the fact that i have a z6 dizzy on here for the time being

 

yeah, replace and or check your firing order, timing, spark plugs, and wires and you should be ok.

 

she just started out of nowhere? or did you reconnect the firing order of the spark plugs?

 

i re did the firing order i had two of them mixed up got to get a new d15 dizzy and i should be good
