Default 95 civic steering wheel issues

hi i have a 95 civic and i want to put a grant steering wheel on it but they dont offer a adapter kit past a 91 honda cuz of the airbag issue i dont care about airbag as im removing both. so if anyone has any awesome ideas or if the 1991 spline is the same as a 1995 that would be great.

thx in advance for anyhelp

I don't think they are. 88-91, 92-95, 96-00 are all different as far as I can tell. They make adapters for MOMO/Sparco/Nardi to Grant wheels.

Actually those links are for the reverse. Grant hub/MoMo wheel. I'll keep looking.

ok I just did this to my 95 eg hatch last night. the grant kit 3595 will work, its the same splines but it wont go down all the way as the shaft is a little bigger. so what i had to do was after taking off the original wheel and air bag stuff your left with the white bow tie looking thing that cancels your signals. in the middle is a gold center piece that fits over the shaft. there are 2 little tabs that are flat that need to be bent into the up position very carefully on a vise with a hammer and small chisel. put the pieces back together and back onto the shaft with those tabs pointing up. I then took my original wheel and cut a 1/2 inch spacer off of the bottom of the shaft keeping the slots on the bottom to fit over those tabs you bent previously. on the top of that spacer you need to cut in 2 raised tabs to fit into the grooves on the bottom of the 3595 hub.put the hub on your car and i used the small hub cover with the kit. put my grant wheel on and it works perfectly. it took a little time but. it looks factory and no gaps.I also re routed my horn wire to a push button toggle switch. any questions feel free to email me. at longdale@rocketmail.com
