Post WTF is this??? PICTURE diagram.. monster energy drink bottle??????

Yesterday i came across a couple of SOHC and DOHC motors and while i checked under their hoods they seem to have almost the same thing under there. WTF is that..... the valve cover vaccum line connecting into a monster energy drink bottle and the top had a hole...
What porpoise is it? i made a simple pic and to explain what it is?

I taught its a way to produce a whistle in the air intake system, idk it looked cool, and sounded cool idk really what it is. is there ways like this to make an intake sound like it whistling on stock engines?? WTF is that??

Okay heres the PIC i did, the guy didn't tell me anything what that thing is used for...WTF...

An oil catch can...catches oil. In the can. The name is pretty self explanatory.

Or breather tank... it helps the motor breath a little more easily.. Ive seen people do the same thing with the monster cans for a radiator reservoir

Why the hell would that guy use a waterbottle as his catch can it looks so hideous. Just go buy a little air breather and slap it on there. It lets oil into the atmosphere instead of burning it and u dont have a friggin halfass water bottle in ur bay.
