Default Mugen MR5's. Real Deal or Fakes? May have found a goldmine...

Just browsing through the internet on different classifieds, like usual, and I came across these.

Mugen MR5s? Or a replica? Someone help soon. Before I lose the deal. Ha.

Any answers will be greatly appreciated. Im sorry this is the only picture I have for you to study. But good luck.

Austin

They look to be real. Although the lug covers and center caps are pretty rare to find.

They look fake to me. Every set of MR5 wheels that I've seen, have the valve stem in between the bolts.. not on the lip. With the exception of the 20th Anniversary Edition.

Ask for a better, close-up photo of the face.

Edit: Haha, I just found the craiglist ad for these wheels. "$200 obo." Sorry; they're either fake, or the seller has absolutely no clue what they are. I'm leaning towards fake.

Well, Ralph, that is why you're a wheel guru and I'm still learning.

Yeah, SeaTac. He must have deleted the ad. I can't seem to find it now. Do you recall what size they were? I thought it said 15" but am not certain.

Edit: Nevermind. After doing some lousy measuring against the image on my monitor, they seem closer to 16" than 15"

Man, if someone actually scored some 16" MR5 for $200.. I'm going to kick myself in the *** for not contacting the guy.

He stated 15". Maybe it was a scam haha. I sent him a email the first second I saw it. He emailed me back the next day saying they were sold.
