1991 civic hatchback oil pressure
installed a new oil pressure guage in my 91 hatch and i dont know what it should be reading. idile,good,bad,high or low? does anybody know what it should be reading?

If I remember right, idle should be around 24 psi and at 3k rpm it should be around 68 psi. oil pressure should change with rpm below 3k and over 3k it should be flowing at max capacity.

1988 = Idle - 24 psi MIN 3k - 60 to 70 psi
1989 - 1991 = Idle 10 psi MIN 3k - 50 psi
