Comptech Ice box Intake
i recently got one of these, and i have a Type r.. and was wondering is there a difference between the comptech intake for the type r or the other trims? OR should it fit all of them?
i tried putting mine in but there is like no space at all to put the horn through and the lower part of the icebox through either

well.. i have a pic of my intake.. and is there like a intake for a GSR and a different for a ITR? Because.. i think i might have the one for a gsr?
ohh ok, so the only thing that COULD be different is the intake?
the lower piping for the icebox wont really fit in the space that its suppose to go through, is whats making me question it..

The box/snorkel is the same for all Integras. The intake arm differs from ITR to GSR because of the different stock intake manifolds. GSR's arm bends down. You have the non-GSR arm. You're good.

since the piping is alot larger than the comptech looks like a 15min install

I would think that this is obvious...
To the OP - I remember that it took me at least good 5 minutes to get the icebox in place the first time I did it. Now it's a matter of seconds.... and no you don't have to bend the AC lines.
My Comptech Icebox was a piece of cake on my 97, though I do not have A/C.... Good or bad?
Good luck, looks like you barely have enough room to squeeze it through.

You have to twist it in, temporarily remove coolant reservoir, etc. It takes no more than 5 min. if done right. I did this on an a/c equipped 95 GS-R, which has the huge ABS unit and all too.
i have this airbox on my R too, you might have to loosen the A/C line a bit to let it move more freely, but there is pretty much only 1 way to get it in. drop it straight down and twist as the lower portion leaves the engine bay. the air horn go's on after from the bottom.
