Default Stock Radio Issues Need Solved

I have a 2000 Gsr with an oem stock radio. Just recently the anti theft light (red) blinks even when in the acc or on position. I know how to put the code in, I know what it is, it is not a blown fuse or shorted wires, as I said the light always blinks. I could eject the cd when this happend, but the radio, although has power, will not turn on. Can't even enter the code. My brother thought I had to hold a button to cancel the antitheft, but I saw nothing in the manual. Anyone who knows how to solve short of getting a new radio.

Check the fuse under the hood. There is one that provides power to the ECU and radio, for keeping the presets and such. Its different than the under dash radio fuse that is used to power the HU when active. I believe that both need power to work correctly.

Okay but, I said that that there is power to radio, and I doubt it is that fuse, because I drive the car still. I unplugged the radio and all the lights went off, when i plugged it back in they cam on, just the lights. I pushed eject and my CD came out. The seven segment display bar never came on indicating the input to the RF amp, Mixer, Local Oscillator, IF Amp(basically the reciever stage of FM transmission), does not get powered. I am basically repeating myself so my point is that there is an aniti theft device in the ciruitry, which I am certain I tripped somehow. How do you override the anti-theft immobilizer? Is there a certain sequence, or should I just get another radio.

Anyone?

I'll check that fuse, but if it is wired w/ ECU, definitely not it.
