I am new to the forum and have tried doing a search before making a post about my question, but could not find the answer. I'd appreciate any/all honest answers that you guys might be able to provide.

I have an 02 Civic Si. I would like to buy the Honda underspoiler (side, front, rear) and hatch spoiler from handaaccessories.com. Unless I'm mistaken,they used to be listed as 02-05 and now they are only listed as 04-05. I talked to someone there and they said they weren't sure if they'd fit my car or not. Can any of you all share some insight into this. Did Honda make a kit to fit my year car or are is it all the same kit. If it won't fit, can you explain why? any input would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks!

Hehe. Not trying to rag your car, but this is in the wrong section selling that you have an EP3. Using the "Acura RSX DC5 & Honda Civic EP3". Heh. Well just to throw my .02, I think they should all fit. Isn't the 01-05 civic si's all the same anyways ?

 

hmmm i had no idea. the forum, i thought i was in was honda civic 01-05 --as generic as they came. that's what i thought too. there were subtle differences. i just need to know if the HFP was available for the 02-03. if not, they may had made body mods to support the aero kits and would explain why they may not work.

 

The hfp kit will fit any ep3. You will be fine

 

any idea as to why there are 2 different instruction sheets from honda for the same spoiler add ons? one is dated sept. 2003 and the other is dated aug. 2004. thanks for the reply.

 

im not sure why, post the two different instructions, then i might be able to tell you why. If you think about it, the only changes from the 02-03 to 04-05 are head/taillights, sideskirts, 5 lug/ bigger wheels, there might be more but it escapes me right now. Since the bumpers stayed the same, the lip kit will fit all years.

Another reason why the hfp kit is listed as 04-05 is because that is when the hfp kit was introduced. When the ep3 was released late 2001 early 2002 there was no hfp kit.

i thought the same thing on the changes. since, they didn't introduce the kit on the first version of this car, then i was wondering if the installation for bumper covers, and screw position, etc. might have changed on the 04's allowing the aero kit of hfp to be installed as an option and not on the first versions (02,03).

you can easily see that one is for the "civic si" and the other is for the "2005 civic si". if there is a difference, then it makes you wonder what HandAaccessories is selling with what set of instructions....
