Valve Adjustment b16head
i did my valves last night and they seem louder than before i followed C-speed procedures and i did intake .006 and exhaust .007 but its louder than before
You adjusted the valves either too loose, or too tight. It has to be just right where the feeler guage has a "slight drag". It takes a couple times to understand that "slight drag".
If it continues to keep ticking loud when you know you adjusted them just right, your LMA's (Lost Motion Assembly) are bad, which are the usual problem. You can usually get your finger underneath the middle rocker which that rocker sits on top of the LMA. Just feel if the LMA is smooth when you press it down, or if it feels rough or gets stuck. Obviously you want them smooth.
Else, it could be an either big problem in your valve train. I'd try step 1 and step 2 first.
Good luck.
