Default tein basics with oem dust covers

hey is it a common thing for the oem dust covers in the rear to hit against the spring and shock and makes this awful noise going over bumps? I kind of hear it when Im pushing the rear up and down. gently of course. thanks

I dont think you're supposed to re-use the oem metal dust covers when installing tein basics. Did you read the instructions that came with the coilovers? They will list everything you're supposed to re use.

hi, on a 7th gen civic the rear oem dust covers are plastic and in the instructions it said to reuse them. The front came with tein dust covers. Is it okay to cut them pretty much all the way?
