99 LS tranny binding up?? please help.
I have a very clean and stock 99 Integra LS. I bought it from the origional owner who did all maintenance and used only mobile 1. The car has 230,000 miles on it awith origional clutch components and it seems to run and drive really well but I have had a tranny binding issue that is very random. heres the symptoms-
Ill be driving and everything will be perfect and Ill go to shift and will feel a vibration in the clutch pedal and the car will not go into ANY gear until I jam it. after I jam it into a gear it will drive fine again until the next time. It doesnt matter what speed I am at when this occurs, but every time I can feel it in the clutch pedal and know it is going to get stuck in neutral. It feels like I am trying to put the car in gear without disengaging the clutch when it happens.
- To try and fix the issue I have put a new master and slave cylinder on the car along with proper bleeding procedure. It didnt help
- I am thinking since it is the original clutch I was going to replace all of that stuff although i cant figure out what is happening so Im not sure if the clutch is the issue. I dont want to take the tranny apart and do the clutch job to find it was a transmission issue if you know what I mean.
- I would also note that I have not noticed any syncro issues typical of B-series, no grinding.
- The linkage and bushings also look ok.

if the car still has original clutch, the throw out bearing must finishedd , or maybe a lack of lubrication on the clutch fork forcing the bearing crooked or something.. something has to be disturbing the disengaging of the clutch..
Thanks, well its hard to say as I believe their is a bad wheel bearing on the passenger front, but Ill listen at idle today to see if I notice anything.
