ok just got the car tuned with a p28 chip on chrome. mods are b16a3 with itr cams, aem cai, dc header, and 2.25" piping to itr muffler. sometimes the car seems to be fine but sometimes the car will idle like at 1,100-1,200 rpm instead of idling normally. it also sometimes idles back and fourth also like from 900 rpm to 1,200 rpm. car was running fine before the tune when i had my stock p30 ecu on it. is this normal after getting an ecu chip and tuned? this only happens sometimes not all the time.

 

I think its normal, if not adjust the idle screw. Mine does the same thing, but it only happens during the day when its hot.

 

yeah mine is the same too!!! in the morning it idles fine but when i get off work driving home it idles differently. did you adjust your idle screw yet? made it any better?

 

I tried but, it would do the opposite. Sinced it was tuned at 160-180 degrees temp, it would idle differently at cold weather and hot weather.
