Default 97 Civic LX Code 335. HELP

Im having problems with my 97 civic lx.
It will be driving down the road, then at about 3500rpm. it will shudder, then cough, then almost die. And throw a CEL. Code 335 (Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction)
I have checked all of the wireing going to and from the sensor, replaced the sensor, and even switched out the ECU. And it keeps doing it.
Im not sure what to do, has anybody else had this issue before?

Did you use your multimeter to look for a short in the Wht and Blu wires running between the sensor and the ECU?

Test for continuity to ground (=short) at each wire.
