Well, there are a lot more tire choices in the 15" sizes of 195/55-15 and 205/50-15 than there are in the 16" sizes of 205/45-16 and 215/45-16. Plus, the 15" tires tend to be less expensive. Plus, you can use whatever tires are on your stock wheels, instead of having to buy new tires like you would for the 16" wheels. But if you like the "look" of a bigger wheel and lower profile tire, then you might prefer the 16". Your choice.

Try not to ask about personal preferences in here. We have an appearance forum for that.

If you're actually 16, stick with 15s. They will be less expensive wheels and allow less expensive tires to be used, offer a smoother ride quality, and offer less chance of bending a wheel on a pot hole. Something every 16 year old needs is more available money and less chance of having to spend it on a bent wheel.

Nope. Those are tiny tires, the right size for old Civics but too small for a GS-R. For 15" wheels, stick with 195/55-15 or 205/50-15.
