928 pinout diagram for 92
i got a 96 f22b1 vtec motor running by a 92 p28 computer and i need to know how to hook vtec up to the computer and which pin to use. the vtec i activated by the horn. but now its turbo so got a ecu from phearable.net. so just need to know if i have to leave it the way it is or can i hook the vtec to the computer since 92 accord dont come with vtec.
it was hooked up to the horn switch before the turbo now i am trying to hook it to the ecu but dont know which pin has to be used because 92 accords dont come with vtec. so how do i hook it up to the ecu.
Considering that your obviously not using a 92 Accord ECU it doesn't matter that they didn't come with VTEC. You need to hook it up using the OBD1 ECU pin out. It will be easier to find your answer if you search for an OBD1 ECU pin out.
Are you sure that you ordered a VTEC ECU from Pherable? Because it would probably be an OBD1 P06 (w/VTEC added) or a P28. You need to find out what ECU you are using before anyone can really help you. If it is chipped then I highly doubt that it is an OBD1 Accord ECU.

Like you said the 92 Accord didn't come with VTEC. Therefore the ECU pin out for a 92 Accord isn't what you are looking for. You are looking for the pin out for an OBD1 VTEC ECU pinout. If you Google "OBD1 ECU pinout" you will find links similar to this.

But..... If all your looking for is some home cooked spoon feeding. A4 is your VTEC solenoid and D6 is the VTEC pressure switch.

I'm wiring up the VTEC solenoid and pressure switch in my 92 accord with h22a4 engine right now.
I know I run the one wire from the solenoid to the ecu, but as you stated the pressure switch has 2 wires;
I know I run the colored one to the ecu, but where does that black wire go to? Do I run that to a ground or do I run it to the ecu also?
Please help, I wants VTEC naoww!!

How do you expect to get vtec with just the ecu ? Dont you need the proper internals cuss vtec isnt only from the ecu, isnt it the vtec lobe on the camshafts
The OP has an F22B1 that has all of the proper internals/mechanical VTEC components. He was wondering how to hook up the electronic control components. ie How to wire the VTEC pressure switch and solenoid to his P28 ECU.
Another poster was looking for ground wire information regarding the VTEC pressure switch. He also had an H22A with all of the proper VTEC internals in place.
wiring vtec is easy its just 2 wires from your vtec solonoid to the ecu, but i need those damn diagrams too and honda tech isnt the help like it used to be. people are mainly here for the pictures it seems now
p61 ecu. b17a1 and chassis, engine and ecu all obd1

Sorry boss, I only have diagrams & manuals for Accords, Preludes and a few Civics.
Hopefully some one in the Integra community will be able to help you out.
Good luck

Sorry I don't personally have any pics of the wiring & my car doesn't have any wiring left in it right now.

actually there really isn't anything left in it!
