why would you want to activate vtec by a horn switch?

CD5 vtec systems engage at low rpms. it should be hooked up to the ecu.

Considering that your obviously not using a 92 Accord ECU it doesn't matter that they didn't come with VTEC. You need to hook it up using the OBD1 ECU pin out. It will be easier to find your answer if you search for an OBD1 ECU pin out.

Are you sure that you ordered a VTEC ECU from Pherable? Because it would probably be an OBD1 P06 (w/VTEC added) or a P28. You need to find out what ECU you are using before anyone can really help you. If it is chipped then I highly doubt that it is an OBD1 Accord ECU.

Like you said the 92 Accord didn't come with VTEC. Therefore the ECU pin out for a 92 Accord isn't what you are looking for. You are looking for the pin out for an OBD1 VTEC ECU pinout. If you Google "OBD1 ECU pinout" you will find links similar to this.

http://www.ff-squad.com/technet/wiring.obd1.htm

But..... If all your looking for is some home cooked spoon feeding. A4 is your VTEC solenoid and D6 is the VTEC pressure switch.

I'm wiring up the VTEC solenoid and pressure switch in my 92 accord with h22a4 engine right now.
I know I run the one wire from the solenoid to the ecu, but as you stated the pressure switch has 2 wires;
I know I run the colored one to the ecu, but where does that black wire go to? Do I run that to a ground or do I run it to the ecu also?
Please help, I wants VTEC naoww!!

How do you expect to get vtec with just the ecu ? Dont you need the proper internals cuss vtec isnt only from the ecu, isnt it the vtec lobe on the camshafts

Yes you need more than just the ECU to have VTEC operate.

The OP has an F22B1 that has all of the proper internals/mechanical VTEC components. He was wondering how to hook up the electronic control components. ie How to wire the VTEC pressure switch and solenoid to his P28 ECU.

Another poster was looking for ground wire information regarding the VTEC pressure switch. He also had an H22A with all of the proper VTEC internals in place.

Sorry boss, I only have diagrams & manuals for Accords, Preludes and a few Civics.

Hopefully some one in the Integra community will be able to help you out.

Good luck
