Hey, I have a 96 accord ex v6, and im looking for crank lightweight pulleys.

I've looked everywhere but can only find them for 98-00. Is it possible that these will fit?

I've also found them for the ex, but only for the 4cyl and the 2.2L engine.

I was wondering if you guys had any pointers or tips on where to find some of these?

Any opinion would be appreciated. Thanks

 

the newer v6's are different, yours is a C-series the newer ones are J-series. dont use lighter pulleys, they lead to rod knock.

 

Hm so not lighter pulleys, alright.

But c-series pulleys? I don't think i've ever heard of them.

c-series motor and j-series motor for the accord V6's, different year.

 

Theres c and j series pulleys though? never heard of that name before

Explains why i was looking for pulleys and couldnt find any.

 

Your MOTOR is a C-series, the casting on the block is CXX, the4cyl are F-series (the 94-97 is F22B1 or F22B2) it is not a brand.
