Hey. What are the dimensions of the OEM tweeter pods? I need to know the inside diameter and depth available for tweeters, but I'm on vacation and can't measure mine. I searched quick, but didn't see anything. I have a deal here on components, but I want to make sure the tweets will fit.

If no one responds, I'll measure when I get back and post it (but info now would help alot). Thanks.

 

Unless someone has different measurements, the pods without modification have a 1-11/16" diameter (43mm) and are 1/2" deep (12mm, rim to bottom).

Please list any known tweeters that fit with little to no modification, with model number if you can.

 

Some of the Infinity tweeters and the MB Quart Q series (or newer Reference) tweeters with the 5 bars will fit using just the tweeter and the grille. You have to make a little ring to make the grille sit where you want and the Quart tweeters have a provision for a machine screw through the back to hold them in the pods.
