Radiator question....
I have no radiator , car didnt come with one , I am finishing my motor this week just need axles , mounts and a radiator. I my power goals are 300-350 whp on vitaras / eagle rods. would a stock radiator from the junkyard work? or maybe a del sol radiator? or should I bite the bullet and buy a fluidyne or something? I am broke from all the money I have spent on this project but I just know a radiator is an important thing. so someone point me in the cheapest/best direction. also if you have any axle suggestions as well let me know. thanks!
I am curious for this too because I have a 300hp B-Series build, coming next week and have the stock radiator, and was wondering if I could use an EG radiator just for fitment issues or am I going to have to get creative with the charge piping? Would an EG half-radiator cool a 300hp bseries?
Well since your using vitaras I take it your running turbo. The stock rad would be fine but the civic half size rad will give you more clearance (between the turbo and radiator). So its up to you really.

I was thinking about usuing the half size from the civic or something like that. I have a crx and I know the one I used to have was too big to go turbo with so I ditched it. so like a 92-95 stock radiator would work? only thing is , if I get one from the junkyard you never know how well it's gonna hold up. but the honda OEM one is same as a fluidyne half size. should I get a junkyard one or is there another company that makes "OEM" radiators that might be cheaper? I was looking on rockauto.com ....
Personally I am using the alum 1/2 radiator from ebay for a 92-95 civic it's dual core, meaning more cooling capacity, and haven't had any issues with it. 100 bucks shipped to my door. Used it N/A, turbo b20, turbo b16, not a single hiccup at all.

Del sol radiator is the same as EG 1/2 radiator. I have innovative traction bar so it has the mounting. However if you have a stock crossmember, you can just remove the tack welds with a grinder, and place the driver side radiator mount to where you need it on the core support to run the 1/2 rad.
