Whats up guys.... recently i just put in a gsr motor in my car, and since then Its just been problems. I noticed today that when Im driving at about 75 and it goes to 4000rpms in 5th gear it cuts off, the car sttays on but when i hit the gas nothing happens, but when i slow down and go to a lwoer gear it kicks back in.

Another issue is when I press down on the clutch i hear this whining noise but when i let off its fine, when its been drivin for awhile it happpens all the time.


Any ideas??

 

i think throwout bearing for the whining noise, and your ignition coil could have went bad.

Yea i was moving towards the throwout bearing as well......but as far as the car shutting off,what wold be the reasoning it would only cut off while im cruising at a higher speed in 5th gear but if im crusing at like 50 in 5th gear its fine

 

i still think the ignition coil is the problem. A bad one will do that to you at certain rpms. I would take it to get it checked.
