ok i have a 1992 integra mini stock racecar with a b18a1 in it. the motor has 160k on it now and i know at the end of the year it will need to be freshened. the rules say stock so i cant really go with a radical cam. but they dont check lower end/internal parts. the car is fast right now but would like to make it a little faster. what are ur recomendations? money of coarse is tight so i dont need the most expensive build. we run 3rd gear and tach about 6400. what should i do for pistons? compression? rods? will light crank help? is it worth doing all the internals with a stock cam? i dont need to gain much since i am one of the faster cars. just figures id go better then stock rebuild.

 

pr3 pistons on stock rods would get you some high *** compression.

 

Whats going on i have a b18a1 im starting my rebuild today and need to start ordering parts soon but i wanna rebuild from vales to oil pen so im asking what are some good vales and cam i seen omni power vales how good are those the last rebuild i did was 4yr ago on a d15 so im a little rusty so if ya can help out and im not a millionaire so good price rage thanx ??
