Default vision motor works

i am building a b16b motor and i am thinking of putting in a set of adjustable cam gears from vision motor works are these cam gears any good and are they a must for my build the build a normally aspirated build

depends on what cams your going to use. you dont have to. and will be pointless if you dont dyno it to find a good adjustment. dont go cheap. if your cam gear slips and your cam does what it wants to...good bye all of your work

no punctuation = hard to read.

If you're building a B16B, just go with the stock cams and gears. They'll be fine for your application.

in relation to redlinetuning's question as to what parts here is the list of my build
eagle b18c5 crank shaft
eagle b18c5 connecting rods
srp forged pistons 11.0:1 compression ratio
acl big end bearing kit and acl main bearing/thrust washers
arp head studs
arp main studs
cometic head gasket
stock cams with cylinder head re-build using genuine honda seals
apexi power fc stand alone engine management system
rolling road tuned
vision motor works high flow fuel filter with liquid filled pressure gauage and adjustable fuel pressure regulator

forgot to mention i am using all b18c5 internals because it will allow my b16b to become a 1.8litre as both blocks are the same

nice build. dont know too much about vision tho. i rebuilt my b17 and chose unorthodox cam gears because of their reputation. money well spent should go to quality

thanks for the advice on cam gears runnineg6 i will look into this, i will also put up a step by step thread of the build when it is being done. with pictures so you guys can see the progress

ditch the Apex Power FC and just get Crome or Hondata. You'll be thankful later.

You said stock cams? ITR or CTR cams? The CTR intake cam is different so you'll want to use the CTR intake. ITR and CTR exhaust cams are the same. Chances are, if you are using EMS, I wouldn't bother with cam gears.

why would i want to ditch the power fc and use the hondata is'nt the power fc not better than hondata and i will also be using both intake and exhaust from camshaft from the ctr.
