prelude/accord caliper upgrade for itr
the pads on my itr need changing, thinking of using the calipers that fit the sir accord prelude and crv, i can get them used here in ja dirt cheap (im talking guiness money, lol) and my friend has some hawk pads that will fit them, also for cheap
go for it? or will stock replacement pads do the trick? my itr is slightly modded
i dont want the front to be too sharp overshadowing the back brakes

Are you talking about calipers or pads? Or both?
The Prelude and CRV (older ones) have the same calipers as the ITR so there's no point in changing. As for pads, stock is fine for street driving. Hawk pads depend on what compound.

You were not clear about what year your car is and sorry that I made the assumption that yours is a 98. For 98spec (and all USDM ITR) comes with the bigger 5-lug calipers that are the same as the Prelude and CRV and Accord V6 etc.
Personally, I think the JDM 96spec 4-lug is undersized and should be upgraded.
wow, so in other words all id be doing is upgrading to 98 spec? lovely... ill work with it then, with no abs, my car kinda needs upgrades it already has slotted/drilled rotors and stainless steel braided lines...
thanks
thanks
