Well I picked up the shell last night came with alot of extra stuff. and still going back to pick up more later this week..

Anyways. I got the car pretty much gutted. and the person before was starting a wire and brake line tuck..

Today I stripped the car of all the wiring, doors, and fenders. and started the body work. It has norm. honda rust but it looks like it has been tended to before. with some really crapy bondo but here are some pics of what i am working with.

Just primered it so it wouldnt start to rust again after grinding it all off

Just an update. I sand blasted all the rust areas and then cut out all the parts that where bad. ill have pics up tomm.

Then here are some pics of what i worked on last night. cut out some of the rust in one area need to clean it up and then weld in the new metal..

$20 for a tranny! how do you know the inside isn't grenaded to pieces lol

 

hey its only $20 lol and if it is junk oh well maybe i can save a gear or 2 out of it.. lol ill crack it open this weekend,

 

Got the whole inside cleaned out sanded and primered. also picked up my supplys to paint the car.. here are some pics.

No. I bought my crx when i was 16, a rolling shell and i put a motor in and drove it for a while. then i got a DA teg and shelved the rex and pulled the motor, so its been sitting in my garage for about 3 years now. I have done a couple cool things, nothing major just a rear disc swap and integra break booster, and lowered it. i need to get it going or sell it. its got no rust anywhere. all original paint and body panels, no fixes.

 

Nice yea my first car was a 90 Crx si loved it lol and now i have another one.

I say get going on the car.. lol dont sell it

 

Mine is a white 90HF. i dont like the sunroofs lol

 

lol i miss my moonroof.. i was thinking about getting an Si roof skin and changing it out.. not sure if i want to go thru the trouble

 

i wouldnt, roof skins are a pain in the ***. lol

 

well worth it if i can get my hands on a glass top.
