I am doing a b16a2 swap in my 99 honda civic lx and also a 5spd conversion...I am almost done but the radiator hoses off of the b16 won't fit the radiator inlet and outlet pipes on the radiator, the hoses are too big and the ex goses won't work if I bought them because the sohc motors have the inlet for the radiator is on the front of the block and on th b16 it is on the side....what can i do to make the hoses fit, or will i have to but an upgraded radiator?
You could always take your hose that you have and go to an auto parts store with the measurement of the inlet and outlets of the rad and ask them if they have any hoses with similar shapes that have the right sizes that you need. If not you could try and find a step down hose that has a smaller end that would on the rad side. You would have to buy a metal coupler and some hose clams and cut the old hose slip the coupler in and put the step down on the other side. Kind of a pain to do but if you can't find anything you might have to do that.
you can use them you just have to get that clamp on there hella tight.
alot of people have done it.
or just try and find a civic si rad. oem is fine, i got my oe replacement for 100 new.

you would be better off buying a dual core for a b series from cx racing off ebay(65$) thats what i did on my swap and it cools like a dream
